Vodacom Uncapped
With the release of ADSL, a whole new world has been opened up to those companies requiring fast, reliable and unlimited bandwidth. Traditionally these companies would have had to opt for a Diginet or alternate service, which would set them back with large monthly charges. ADSL has now allowed existing Diginet users to reduce their costs, as well as allowing traditional dial up users to increase their throughput and reliability. The Vodacom Business ADSL Uncapped solutions take the traditional ADSL offerings and adapt them to be business friendly, whilst at the same time keeping costs down.
Features:
- The Uncapped service has no limit to the amount data that a customer can potentially use in a month
- The Uncapped version of Business ADSL will be offered with 5 static IP addresses by default.
|
Benefits:
- Vodacom Business utilizes Telkom's Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) Access as an access connectivity option to connect customer sites to the Vodacom Business IP Network.
- Vodacom Business offers a broadband internet ADSL service to its SMME, SOHO and Corporate market.
- An Uncapped (SMME/Corporate) bandwidth-based model (shaped only) with an applicable fair usage policy is available. All the services are aimed at the business end of the market.
- Vodacom Business will provide the CPE (Customer Provider Edge) device for this service. This CPE is managed and supported, including the providing of Static IP addresses used for tunneling the customer's network into Vodacom Business. This is a unique value add as standard ADSL offerings in South Africa do not allow for the provisioning of static IP addresses. The allocation of static IP addresses by Vodacom Business makes it possible for the subscriber to host mail servers, web-servers and application servers on their LAN.
